Class Competition

Problem:

Temple University students do not feel compelled to volunteer to help children read. Most students are unaware of Tree House Books and its close proximity to Temple University.

Solution:

Create a grass roots movement that motivates Temple University students to help #EndPhiliteracy by volunteering at Tree House Books.

Positioning Statement:

To 18-24 year old Temple University students, volunteering with Tree House Books offers opportunities to boost their resumes, while teaching children to read. 

Big Idea:

Literacy is a severe issue in Philadelphia and is hard to obtain for thousands of our neighbors.  Literacy SHOULD NOT be hard to obtain. Together we can #EndPhiliteracy.
